About this concert
Lise Berthaud, named as a member of BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artist scheme in September 2013, joins forces with her regular duo partner for this BBC Lunchtime concert.
Their programme includes Shostakovich’s final composition, the viola sonata, completed shortly before his death and recognised among his finest late masterworks.
