About this concert
Amir Katz is a prolific prizewinner in international piano competitions, gaining First Prize in the Maria Canals (Barcelona), Robert Casadesus (Cleveland), Viotti Valsesia (Italy), and International Schubert (Dortmund). He has played all over the worlds, including at Alice Tully Hall New York, at the Théâtre du Châtelet Paris, Tonhalle Zurich, and in concert in Japan and China. Among the orchestras he has worked with are the Munich Philharmonic and the Israel Philharmonic, conducted by Zubin Mehta.
